Spotlight on Teleperformance Hellas
Teleperformance is a major recruiter of language speakers. We asked them what their recruitment plans are over the next few months.
Who are Teleperformance Greece and what do they do?
Established in 1989, Teleperformance Greece was the very first company to introduce contact centre outsourcing in the local market. In 2002 it became the Regional Headquarters for the Teleperformance Operations in South Europe and the Middle-East, and in 2004 it started becoming a major multilingual destination for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Today, it is a global multilingual destination serving over 140 markets in 40 languages & dialects and employing more than 8,700 people from 109 nationalities.
Teleperformance supports major multinational Clients in the Automotive, Business Services, Consumer Electronics, Energy, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Gaming, Financial, Healthcare, Insurance, Media & Entertainment, Retail and e-Retail, Technology, Telecommunications, and Travel.
Why do I see lots of Teleperformance roles advertised?
Teleperformance Greece has been growing with amazingly high rates during the past few years. Growth and development comes hand-in-hand with employee volume growth. During the past 4 years our company population has been double from 4,500 to almost 9,000 people. We have many openings for many positions (customer care, technical support, sales & promotions, social media content moderation, etc.) for numerous projects, in more than 37 languages and dialects.
What is the interview process – will it be online?
The interview process is being done remotely, via phone and/or online calls. The whole recruiting process is being done online, without the need of any physical presence.
Will relocation support be offered and how?
We provide complete relocation support (flight ticket to Greece, 2-week hotel accommodation, assistance finding an apartment, real estate fee covered by our company) for all our expats.
Of course, all processes are being aligned with all official measures and regulations as provided by the Greek and EU authorities.
Are there any countries you are not considering relocating from at the moment?
We relocate from all countries which allow flights and of course flights are allowed to arrive. We follow all EU and Greek authorities regulations.
If I am successful at interview what would be the next step, is training online? Can I work from home?
In some of our projects online training is provided, regardless of the country of residence. Working from home is an option for many of our projects, but relocation to Greece is needed; at the moment we cannot provide work-from-home options for people living outside Greece.
