We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of German SME clients. You will play a pivotal role in managing and growing client relationships, focusing on portfolio expansion and long-term retention. Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of a portfolio of German SME clients, with a focus on growth and retention strategies.
- Identify client needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Proactively manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed growth targets.
- Seek out new business opportunities through self-generated leads, client referrals, and sister companies.
- Ensure premium value delivery aligned with client goals, fostering strong client relationships and customer advocacy.
- Monitor client opportunities, risks, and threats to maintain and grow long-term relationships.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving and evolving environment, adapting to changing client needs.
Requirements:
- Native-level German and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Proven experience working in or for the German market.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- A creative thinker with a challenger mindset, capable of identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to confidently engage with senior executives and influence decision-makers.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand client needs, driving results and uncovering new business opportunities.
- Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills and a consultative approach to sales.
- Ability to inspire innovation and drive change within the organization.
